1. INTRODUCTION

You must have heard about your metro city. Yes, Metro City, this was also a scheme of our government and you must have known very well about this plan of the government. Taking this scheme as an example, the Yogi government has given suggestions to make Gorakhpur more developed, in which it has been decided to add Gorakhpur to a “Safe City Plan” and also to build a metro station in the city has also been offered.

A. What will come under this scheme?

i. Under the Safe City scheme, first of all, a PAC battalion will be formed so that the participation of women in PAC can be increased further.
ii. Under the safety plan itself, it has been proposed to build a city center in the middle of Gorakhpur city, which is like a society, from which we can also call a city in which many houses will be together like in a flat. There the houses will be given as flats. Along with this, necessary facilities like hospital, school, park etc. will also be provided in that society. All this is the proposal of the GDA means “Gorakhpur Development Authority”.
iii. This society or city will be constructed on Kushinagar road between Jagdishpur to Deoria road.
iv. This city will be built on an area of about 25 hundred acres, in which about 1.5 lakh population can be accommodated.

2. PRIVATE INVESTORS WILL PREPARE THE CITY

Now the point to be noted here is that the government or GDA will not invest in this, but private companies and private investors will invest, and this will give a lot profit to private investors and companies because the chances of this scheme being successful are 99.9%, and it is a huge success in itself.
Although private investors will invest in this scheme instead of GDA and will give new impetus to the scheme, but the rules of other facilities like road and drain will be made by GDA itself.
 

3. NEAR GORAKHPUR AND KUKHINAGAR AIRPORT

The success of this plan on a large scale can be estimated from the fact that the Kushinagar airport has been built and the airport has been opened for the people, so if a city is mentioned near it, then the interest of the people will be more in that. The GDA Master Plan is also going to make new provisions in 2031 for built the city.
According to this provision, the cultivable land will be converted into commercial land so that there is no obstruction in the construction, and once the cultivable land is converted into commercial land, the investment will also increase substantially.

4. THE LIMIT OF GDA IS TILL SONBARSA

Sonbarasa situated on Kushinagar Road is also under GDA. According to GDA Vice President Prem Ranjan Singh ji, the city is continuously moving towards development. Now the day is not far when the scope of GDA will also increase. Presently, 300 villages come under the jurisdiction of the Authority, which in itself is a very large number.

5. CONSTRUCTION OF RING ROAD AND MODERN BUS STAND

Recently, funds have also been approved for the Ring Road to be built between Jungle Kauria and Jagdishpur. The connectivity between Nepal Maharajganj, Bihar Deoria and Lucknow will improve even more after the Ring Road is built. There is already a plan to build a modern bus stand in Ramnagar Karjahan district administration so that people do not face any problem in commuting.
